SARANAC LAKE — A burglary in Saranac Lake led to the arrest Monday of a man from Colton, N.Y., according to Saranac Lake Police.
Corey A. Bishop, 41, was charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny, both felonies.
Police said that Bishop’s arrest followed the investigation of a burglary of a residence in the Village of Saranac Lake where more than $10,000 worth of property was stolen.
He was arraigned in Saranac Lake Village Court and sent to Essex County Jail in lieu of $5,000 or $10,000 bail bond.
Bishop remained in Essex County Jail Wednesday.

PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was arrested on felony charges Friday.
Keith Hicks Jr., 54, of Plattsburgh, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, also a felony.
Hicks was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court and sent to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash or $15,000 bond.
Further information was not available Wednesday.
