NORTH ELBA — A Saranac Lake man was injured in an accident Monday.
Shortly before 12:11 p.m., Anastasia Dierna, 45, of Bloomingdale was driving on County Route 86 when she stopped to make a left turn onto County Route 33, according to Ray Brook-based State Police.
Dierna’s turn signal light was on, police said.
A vehicle driven by Matt Scollin, 27, struck Dierna’s vehicle on the rear driver’s side, spinning Dierna’s vehicle 180 degrees to face west, police said. Both vehicles were severely damaged, police said.
Scollin was transported to Adirondack Medical Center Lake Placid where he was treated and released.
