DUANE — A Malone man was injured in a one-car accident allegedly involving cellphone use.
Plattsburgh-based State Police said Craig M. Bruso, 34, was driving a 1999 Ford sedan east on Route 14 when he drove off the roadway striking a tree.
Police said Bruso told them he was attempting to answer a call on his cellphone.
Bruso was reported injured and transported to Alice Hyde Medical Center where he was treated and released.
He was ticketed for operating a vehicle while using a mobile telephone and moving from a lane unsafely.
