PLATTSBURGH — A Morrisonville man was arrested on grand larceny charges Monday.
According to Plattsburgh City Police Chief Desmond Racicot, Christopher Daniels, 19, entered the vacant bedroom of a resident who was having a party on South Catherine Street from Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Between the hours of 1 and 3 a.m. Daniels allegedly stole cash, a laptop, an Xbox, sneakers and cigars, Racicot said.
The resident reported the incident to police.
Daniels was arrested by City Police at 8 p.m. Monday following a Cornelia Street traffic stop, Racicot said.
He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny of property valued at more than $1,000.
Daniels was arraigned in City Court and was released pretrial. He is scheduled to appear Feb. 6 in Plattsburgh City Court.
