SOUTH BURLINGTON — A former Plattsburgh man was arrested on various felony charges in Vermont.
On Jan. 20, the Hartford Police Department in Vermont arrested Jason R. Antonetti, 36, in White River Junction. He was described as a “transient” in a Vermont State Police press release.
Antonetti’s arrest was the result of a coordinated investigation conducted by a total of five law enforcement agencies, according to the release.
He allegedly was involved in numerous larcenies, police said in the release. The alleged crimes were committed in Chittenden, Washington and Windsor Counties in Vermont, police said.
Police obtained a search warrant for Antonetti’s vehicle and found stolen property inside the car, police said.
He was charged with larceny, possessing and selling stolen property, fraud and attempted fraud.
Antonetti was sent to the South Burlington Correctional Center in lieu of $12,500 bail.
He was scheduled to appear in Chittenden Superior Court Jan. 22.
Working together on the investigation were Williston-based Vermont State Police, the Winooski Police Department, the Berlin Police Department, the South Burlington Police Department and the Williston Police Department.
