---- — CHAZY — A Mooers woman was injured in a one-car accident on Tuesday.
Jessica Gay, 29, of Mooers told police she was driving westbound on West Church Street shortly before 9:11 a.m. when she lost control of her car when she failed to reduce the vehicle’s speed on the slush-covered roadway, Chazy-based State Police said.
Gay’s vehicle left the roadway via the north shoulder and struck a guardrail, police said.
Gay was transported to CVPH Medical Center where she was treated and released.
