PLATTSBURGH — Two Plattsburgh men are accused of raking up thousands of dollars in debt on someone else's credit card.
Last week, Plattsburgh City Police arrested Thomas J. Howe, 30, and Jared R. Hudson, 31, as part of an ongoing investigation into the card theft.
Police said Thursday that the pair are suspected of obtaining stolen credit-card numbers on the Internet and then using them to purchase more than $10,000 worth of merchandise during the last few months.
Both men are now facing charges of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree identity theft.
