PLATTSBURGH — Police said a local man was stabbed last weekend during an argument at a city residence.
Plattsburgh City Police were called to the Sandalwood Way home last Saturday after David A. Burgleigh allegedly stabbed another man in the abdomen.
When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old man, whom they did not identify, suffering wounds to his face, arm and abdomen.
After the victim was taken to CVPH Medical Center for treatment, police found Burleigh on South Catherine Street and arrested him for second-degree assault.
Police said the violence occurred at the 20-year-old Plattsburgh man's home.
He will reappear in City Court later this month to face the allegations.
The victim continues to recover.
Police did not release any information about the stabbing until Thursday afternoon.
