ALTONA — A downstate man incarcerated locally is now wanted on drug charges in New Jersey.
Justino Flores has been serving his 2½-year sentence for drug possession at Altona Correctional Facility and was arrested this week as a fugitive from the southern state.
Plattsburgh-based State Police investigators said the 30-year-old is wanted for possession of dangerous controlled substances.
It was unclear Wednesday when Flores will be returned to New Jersey to face the allegations.
