BANGOR — A Malone woman suffered a minor injury early Tuesday morning in a one-car accident.
According to Ray Brook-based State Police, Melissa S. Ashley, 28, was driving east on Route 11B in a 2004 Chevy Cavalier at about 12:11 a.m. when she encountered a snow-covered portion of the roadway and lost control of the vehicle.
The car went off the north shoulder and struck a tree.
She suffered a minor injury, but the nature of the injury was unknown Tuesday night because the accident report was incomplete.
A nursing supervisor at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone said Ashley was treated at the hospital for minor injuries and released.
Ashley, who State Police said lost control of the vehicle due to unsafe speed for the weather conditions, was not ticketed.
