MORIAH — A Mineville man was arrested Dec. 29 for violating an order of protection.
Martin J. Kedmenec, 48, allegedly texted a woman on Dec. 28, violating a court-issued order of protection, Lewis-based State Police said.
Kedmenec was charged with first-degree criminal contempt using a telephone, a felony; resisting arrest, a misdemeanor; second-degree harassment, a violation; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Kedmenec was arraigned and sent to Essex County Jail.
