---- — PLATTSBURGH — A Champlain man was arrested Saturday for alleged criminal mischief.
According to Plattsburgh City Police, a warrant for the arrest of Christopher L. Brockway, 24, was issued after witnesses observed Brockway intentionally damaging a vehicle parked on Oak Street in Plattsburgh at 2:14 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21.
Brockway allegedly swung a golf club at a Chevy Cavalier, smashing the rear window of the vehicle.
He turned himself in to City Police at approximately 7 p.m. Saturday and was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony.
Brockway was arraigned Sunday in City Court and is being held at Clinton County Jail on $250 bail or $500 bond.
He is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
