PLATTSBURGH — A Peru man was arrested on felony grand larceny charges.
The aunt of Caleb G. Branham, 21, noticed some of her jewelry was missing Dec. 14, Plattsburgh-based State Police said.
She reported it stolen to police just after 4 p.m. Dec. 17, police said.
Branham had allegedly stolen the jewelry and sold it to a consignment shop on Margaret Street in Plattsburgh, police said.
He was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Plattsburgh State Police barracks and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
Branham was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and released on an appearance ticket for Dec. 20.
