SCHUYLER FALLS — A Morrisonville woman was arrested on felony car larceny charges.
Jamie L. Blake’s friend’s 1994 Chevy pickup truck had ran out of gas on Nov. 17, according to Plattsburgh-based State Police. Blake’s friend left the vehicle at Blake’s residence on River Street in Schuyler Falls, police said.
A month later, Blake’s friend reported her car missing to police at 1:11 p.m. Dec. 18.
Police investigation revealed that Blake had allegedly sold the pickup for scrap metal, police said.
Blake was arrested at 7:36 p.m. Jan. 4 and was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny of an auto part valued at more than $100.
She was arraigned in the Town of Schuyler Falls Court. No further information was available.
