PERU — A Plattsburgh woman was injured in a one-car accident Tuesday .
Darlene A. McMahon, 47, was driving a Honda Pilot north on Interstate 87 at 1:45 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle due to the snow-covered road, Plattsburgh-based State Police said.
Police said McMahon's vehicle struck two trees before coming to rest.
Darlene and 5-year-old Colin McMahon were reported injured and taken to CVPH Medical Center, where they were treated and released.
