---- — PLATTSBURGH — Two women face felony charges in connection with a fraud investigation from January.
Amber E. Limacher, 25, of Milton, Vt. was picked up by South Burlington Police for an allegedly shoplifting from a store there.
Plattsburgh-based State Police said there was a warrant out for her arrest in New York stemming from a Jan. 24 incident involving a stolen credit card.
She was transported to authorities in Plattsburgh at about 10:30 a.m. Oct. 3 where she was arrested and charged with two counts fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
Limacher was also charged with two counts second-degree criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor.
She is currently being held in Clinton County Jail.
Police also arrested Cathaline L. Aylmer, 40, of Taberg, N.Y., at about 3 p.m. Oct. 5, police said, for her alleged involvement with the investigation in New York.
She was also charged with two counts fourth-degree grand larceny and two counts second-degree criminal impersonation.
