---- — PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh woman was injured in an accident Monday.
Charlena M. Scroggins, 21, of Plattsburgh was driving on Military Turnpike in the Town of Plattsburgh shortly before 5:26 p.m.
Plattsburgh-based State Police said Scroggins was between 500 and 600 feet from the intersection with Tom Miller Road when Erica L. Harvey, 21, walked out into the road. Scroggins accidentally struck Harvey with her vehicle. Harvey may not have looked both ways before stepping into the road, police said.
Harvey complained of back and neck pain and was transported to CVPH where she was treated and released.
No tickets were issued.
