PLATTSBURGH — Two people were injured in a motor-vehicle accident Saturday.
According to Plattsburgh-based State Police,Tina M. Olsen, 45, of Morrisonville was turning left onto the Banker Road from State Route 22B in the Town of Plattsburgh at 5:48 p.m., when her vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle, Beverly A. Randall, 77, of Morrisonville, was traveling east on Route 22B, when she hit Olsen’s vehicle, which was directly in front of her, police said.
Olsen complained of neck and head pain and was transported to CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh and later released.
Olsen’s passenger, whose name was not available, was also transported to the hospital for head pain, which, according to police, was believed to be the result of a minor injury.
Randall was issued a ticket for following too closely behind another motorist under vehicle and traffic law.
