CHATEAUGAY — A child was injured in a Sea-Doo accident Sunday afternoon.

George Sprague, 6, of Keeseville was going to get a ride on a Bombardier Sea-Doo from a family friend at a camp on Chateaugay Lake. Before the adult could board the vehicle, Sprague engaged the throttle, moved the vehicle forward and fell off it just shortly before 1 p.m.

Sprague was transported to CVPH Medical Center and transferred to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, where he was treated and released.
