MAUDE H. BARNEY, age 81, of Sentinel Rd., Lake Placid, N.Y. died peacefully Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, N.Y., surrounded by her family and friends. Maude was born March 27, 1931 in Lake Placid, the daughter of Merrill Smith Sr. and Ruth (Pratt) Smith. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday, August 10th at the M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, August 11th at St. Eustace Episcopal Church in Lake Placid. Rev. David Ousley will officiate. Cremation will follow. Burial will be in North Elba Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
