JOAN M. FRENYEA, 81, of Prospect Ave., Plattsburgh, died Saturday, Aug. 18, at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility, surrounded by her family. She was born in Burke on July 14, 1931, the daughter of Walter and Irene (Rushford) Ashline. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the R. W. Walker funeral home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Burial will take place at St. Alexander's Cemetery in Morrisonville. A full obituary will appear in Tuesday's Press Republican. Arrangements are in care of the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court St., Plattsburgh.
