MELVIN E. "MEL" BENNETT Sr., 87, of Bushey Blvd., Plattsburgh, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center, with family by his side. He was born in Constable, N.Y. on Sept. 25, 1925, the son of Warren J. and Helen (LaVane) Bennett. Arrangements are incomplete and have been entrusted to his son and grandsons at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh.
