MILTON, Vt. — Dawn Pelkey and Eric Lothrop were married Aug. 20, 2011, at the VFW in Milton, Vt., by Justice of the Peace Mary Noble. The ceremony was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of Allan and Donna Darrah of Mooers Forks. The bridegroom is the son of Andy and Becky Lothrop of Milton.
Attendants were Amber Pelkey of Rouses Point, sister of the bride; Beckie Braley of Concord, N.H., the bridegroom’s sister; Amy Davis of Essex, Vt.; and Nicole Marion of Fort Drum, sister of the bridegroom. Flower girls were Alonna Darrah of Mooers Forks, the bride’s sister; and Jennie Braley of Concord, niece of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Shawn McAllister of Manchester, N.H.; and Kyle Knowlton and Gary Barnes, both of Essex, Vt. Brooke Carter of Fairfax, Vt., cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
The bride was escorted by her parents, Allan and Donna Darrah.
Dawn Lothrop graduated from Northeastern Clinton Central School in 2005 and CV-TEC in 2005 with a degree in graphic designs and communications. She is employed at Contact Communications in Burlington, Vt.
Eric Lothrop attended Concord High School in Concord. He is a guard in Flex-a-Seal Company in Essex, Vt.
After a wedding trip to Hampton Beach, N.H., the Lothrops reside in Milton.
