CHAMPLAIN — Jaylane Elizabeth Rabideau and Cody Richard Roberts were married June 11, 2011, in St. Mary's Church, Champlain by the Rev. James Delbel.
The bride is the daughter of Ricky and Mary Rabideau of Mooers Forks. The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Gail Roberts of Champlain.
Courtney Shutts of Plattsburgh was matron of honor. Best man was Steve Young of Altona.
Bridesmaids were Rachel Coryea of Rouses Point; Sheri Hollister of Mooers Forks, aunt of the bride; Morgan Rabideau and Amanda Rabideau, both of Mooers Forks, the bride's cousins; Beth Trombley of Ellenburg; and Heather Rabideau of Mooers Forks, sister-in-law of the bride. Flower girl was Grace Cook, the bridegroom's cousin.
Ushers were Justin Marks of Rouses Point, cousin of the bridegroom; Cody O'Brian of Rouses Point; Nick Roberts, Kacey Roberts and Dayton Roberts, all of Champlain, the bridegroom's brothers; Kyle Rabideau and Matthew Rabideau, both of Mooers Forks, brothers of the bride. Kayden Rabideau, the bride's nephew, was ring bearer.
Readers were Donna Marks and Brenda Cardin.
A reception was held at the Rainbow Wedding and Banquet Hall in Altona with music provided by Sound Obsession.
Jaylane Roberts graduated from Northeastern Clinton Central School, Champlain, in 2007; Clinton Community College in 2009 with an associate degree in nursing and from Plattsburgh State in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at CVPH.
Cody Roberts graduated from Northeastern Clinton Central School, Champlain, in 2006. He is attending Plattsburgh State, working toward a degree in childhood education with a minor in human development and family relations. He is employed by the Village of Rouses Point.
After a one-week wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Mooers.
