Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Freeman – Ashlaw

MORRISONVILLE - Jennifer Ann Freeman and Tyler Bruce Ashlaw were married June 16, 2012, at St. Alexander's Church, Morrisonville, by Rev. Scott Seymore. The reception was held at the West Side Ballroom, Plattsburgh with disc jockey, Roger Bernard of C.R. Tunes.

The bride is the daughter of Beth and Gary Freeman, 5 Kimberly Lane, Morrisonville. The bridegroom is the son of Cindy and Terry Ashlaw, 113 California Rd., Malone.

Heidi Freeman of Morrisonville, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Best man was Eric Ashlaw, of Burke, brother of the bridegroom.

Bridesmaids were Christine Ashlaw, sister-in-law of groom, of Burke; Nicole Maille, of Morrisonville, and Catherine Lapier, of Rouses Point, both friends of the bride.

Flower girl was Natalie Ashlaw, niece of the groom, of Burke.

Ushers were Michael Bonner, of Plattsburgh; Richard Morrison, of West Chazy; and Jason Sequin, of Ellenburg Depot, all friends of the groom.

Ring Bearer was Ethan Freeman, nephew of the bride, of Morrisonville.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The organist was Ben and the soloist was Wanda Haby.

Jennifer graduated from Saranac High School in 2003 and Clinton Community College in 2006 with an associate degree in nursing. She works on the Progressive Care Unit at CVPH.

Tyler graduated from Franklin Academy in 2000 and Clinton Community College in 2003 with an associate degree in humanities and social science. He works at Morrisonville/Schuyler Falls Ambulance Service as a Critical Care EMT and at CVPH as an EMT.

After a wedding trip to Sandals Resort Montego Bay, the Ashlaws will reside in Morrisonville.
