Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

We monitor comments Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Approval of comments outside these times may be delayed.

SEATTLE — Ashley St. Denis and Tyler J. Hermsen were married on May 25, 2012 at Sodo Park in Seattle, Wash. The bride is the daughter of Michael and Lorraine St. Denis of Plattsburgh. The groom is the son of James and Darlene Hermsen of Bellevue, Wash.

Jill LaBombard of Raleigh, N.C. was the maid of honor. Derek Hermsen brother of the groom, of Seattle was the best man.

Bridesmaids were Brandie Giles of Edmonds, Wash.; Cassandra Docking of Edmonds, friends of the bride; and Jamie Hermsen- Crowe, friend of the bride and sister of the groom.

Groomsmen were Robert Wasser, Dave Cordova of Seattle, and Steve Freistadt, all of Seattle and friends of the groom.

Ashley St. Denis graduated from SUNY Binghamton in 2002 with a bachelors degree in science, major in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Seattle Childrens Hospital and a clinical nurse instructor at Seattle University.

Tyler Hermsen graduated from the University of Washington in 2004 with a bachelor in economics and from Seattle University in 2008 with a Juris Doctor. He is currently a litigation attorney with Floyd, Pflueger & Ringer, P. S. in Seattle.

After a honeymoon on the Caribbean Island of Curacao, the couple resides in Edmonds, Washington.
