Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Steere - Luck

COOPERSTOWN — Ashley Nicole Steere and Ian James Jeffrey Luck were united in marriage on June 16, 2012 at St. Mary's Church in Cooperstown. The ceremony was officiated by Father John Rosson. The reception was held at the Louis C. Jones Center at the Farmers Museum in Cooperstown.

The bride is the daughter of Alan and Roberta Steere of Schuyler Lake. Th groom is the son of Jeffrey and Denise Luck of Morrisonville.

The maid of honor was Robyn Maher. Bridesmaids were Christina Baker, sister of the bride, Audra Squier, sister of the groom, and friends of the bride, Caitlin Menotti and Kirsten McKeown.

Adrianna Baker and Alexis Baker, nieces of the bride, served as flower girls.

The best man was Henry Phillip Maynard III. Groomsmen were Tyler Steere, brother of the bride, and friends of the groom, Timothy Harrington, Matthew Collin, Matthew Jenkins.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Richfield Springs Central School, a 2007 graduate of Elmira College and in 2012 she received her Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from the University of Vermont.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Seton Catholic High School in Plattsburgh and a 2007 business graduate of Ithaca College.

The couple spent the four weeks following the wedding on their honeymoon traveling the United States before moving to Beverly, MA.
