Don’t presume someone’s guilt in a case when it hasn't been established by a court.

Don’t assail or impugn an identifiable individual or group. If you have that kind of criticism, sign your name and submit it as a Letter to the Editor. (There is some leeway on this in connection with public officials, but it is not unconditional.)

Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Stunzi: 50 years

ROUSES POINT — Francis and Patricia Stunzi of Rouses Point celebrated their 50th anniversary on Nov. 13, 2011. They gathered with their children and families to attend mass together and witness the blessing of their marriage by the Rev. Clyde Lewis at St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point, the same church they were married in. Following mass they and their family gathered for a celebratory brunch at Cricket's in Peru.

Francis Augustus Stunzi and Patricia Ann Belair were married Nov. 18, 1961, in St. Patrick's Church by Monsignor Walter E. Cleary. Their wedding attendants were Mary Anne Stunzi, sister of the bridegroom; and Clifford Brassard.

Francis retired from Ayerst Labs in 2000 after 40 years of employment. Patricia was employed at Latremore's Insurance and later Chazy Central Rural School cafeteria.

They have two daughters, Lynn Grovine of Chazy and Marsha Trombly of West Chazy, and a son, Francis M. (Frank) of Chazy. They have seven grandchildren, Alison and Katherine Grovine, Lyles, Jessica, Adrian and Shauni Trombly and Michael Stunzi; and three great-grandchildren, Kameron Stunzi, Karina Kalvaitis and Noah Trombly.

The couple, now retired, enjoy gem and mineral collecting and mining, mountain climbing, stamp collecting, collecting feed sacks, quilting and gardening. Francis is an ADK 46er, completing the 46th, Whiteface Mt., on his 46th birthday. Patricia met him and fellow climbers on top with a birthday cake.

For their 50th anniversary, they returned to their favorite vacation spot, the Rosedon in Bermuda. Francis and Pat have also enjoyed traveling to other points of interest in various states. Their most memorable trips included Alcatraz Island, San Diego and San Francisco, Calif.; Atlanta, Ga.; St. Louis, Mo.; Florida, Boston and Maine.
