PLATTSBURGH — Donald and Marianne Plympton of Plattsburgh celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner over the holidays and a trip to Florida.
Donald Plympton and Marianne Kschiewan were married Jan. 13, 1962, in Our Savior Lutheran Church, Centereach, by Kenneth Hoener. Best man was Kenneth Esper, and maid of honor was Patricia Moanes.
Their children are Jim Plympton of Chazy; Bill Plympton and wife, Jeanna of Plattsburgh; and Dina Recore and husband, Jim of Marietta, Ga. They have three grandchildren.
Don served four years in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the New York State Police after 22½ years of service. He has been an associate broker with Century 21 for 30 years. Marianne is retired.
