PLATTSBURGH — Kristy L. Curry and Corey J. Brown were married Nov. 12, 2011, at Plattsburgh Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Tara Forkey.
The bride is the daughter of Rick Curry of Morrisonville and Shelley Curry of Plattsburgh. The bridegroom is the son of Harvey Brown of Peru and Tammy Miller of Plattsburgh.
Maria Gushlaw of Plattsburgh was matron of honor. Amanda McCleary of Plattsburgh, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Best men were Nick Dupell of Plattsburgh and Steve Hanley of Albany, the bridegroom's cousin.
Bridesmaids, all of Plattsburgh, were Julia Cross; Tara Forkey; Kate Jerry; and Brandi Brown, sister of the bridegroom. Flower girls were Zoe Vaughn, the bride's cousin; and Lillianna Cross, goddaughter of the bride.
Ushers, all of Plattsburgh, were Bryan Allen, Casey Dupell, Kris Gushlaw and Logan Franks. Ring bearer was Zane Vaughn, the bride's cousin.
Readers were Shelley Curry, mother of the bride; and Tammy Miller, the bridegroom's mother.
A reception was held at the Plattsburgh Elks Lodge with music provided by VIP Entertainment.
Kristy Curry-Brown graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2006 and Plattsburgh State in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in marketing.
Corey Brown graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2004 and Plattsburgh State in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in English literature.
After a six-day wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Peru.
