PLATTSBURGH — Nicole Marie Facteau and Jason Lawrence Friend were married Nov. 11, 2011, in Plattsburgh United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of James E. and Deborah Facteau of Cadyville. The bridegroom is the son of Allan and Mary Friend of Burke.
Rebekah Facteau of Brooklyn, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Best man was Derek Friend of Burke, the bridegroom's brother.
Bridesmaids were Nicole Mowry of Jay, Stephanie Parmeter of Morrisonville and Megan Goff of Winthrop, Mass. Paige Ebere, goddaughter of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Ushers were Chad Ebere of West Chazy, Ron Parmeter of Morrisonville and Trevar Soulia of Plattsburgh. Ring bearer was Trent Parmeter.
Readers were Amanda Friend and Emily Friend, the bridegroom's sisters.
A reception was held at West Side Ballroom in Plattsburgh.
Nicole Marie Friend graduated from Saranac Central High School in 2002 and Plattsburgh State, with a bachelor's degree in childhood/early childhood education in 2006, and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction in 2008. She is a teaching assistant at Oak Street Elementary School, Plattsburgh.
Jason Friend graduated from Franklin Academy High School, Malone in 2003 and Clinton Community College, Plattsburgh in 2005 with an associate in criminal justice degree. He is employed by New York State Department of Corrections, working at Clinton Correctional Facility, Dannemora.
A week in the Caribbean is planned for the honeymoon. The Friends reside in Cadyville.
