ISLA MUJERES, Mexico — Lara Blake Dell'Omo and Joshua Brooks were married Jan. 16, 2010, at Zama Beach Club, Isla Mujeres, Mexico. The ceremony was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Gregory and Polly Dell'Omo. The bridegroom is the son of Lawrence Sr. and Maxine Brooks.
Julia Hershenberg was maid of honor. Best man was Lawrence Brooks Jr., brother of the bridegroom.
Lara Brooks graduated from Cherry Hill East, Cherry Hill, N.J., in 2000 and Syracuse University in 2004. She is employed at SmithGroup Architects.
Dr. Joshua Brooks graduated from Saranac Central School in 2000 and Syracuse University in 2004. He also graduated in 2008 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College.
He is employed at Accessible Beltway Clinics.
The Brookses reside in Washington, D.C.
