Don’t assail or impugn an identifiable individual or group. If you have that kind of criticism, sign your name and submit it as a Letter to the Editor. (There is some leeway on this in connection with public officials, but it is not unconditional.)

Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Howard - Baker

ELLENBURG — WEST CHAZY — Sarah Marie Howard and Kyle David Baker were married Sept. 1, 2012, at the Rainbow Wedding & Banquet Hall, Altona, by Sue Castine.

The bride is the daughter of Craig Howard and the late Patty Howard of West Chazy. The bridegroom is the son of Charlene and David Baker of Chazy.

Stephanie Howard of Plattsburgh was maid of honor. Tim Oliver was the bridegroom's best man. Bridesmaids were Stacy Bump, Jessica Dominic, Mindy Wojewodzic, and Katya Howells. Ushers were Ron Snide, Cory Baker, Anthony Cappello, Ben Baker, and Nick Sprague. The bride was escorted by her father.

A reception was held at the Rainbow Wedding & Banquet Hall. Music was by Dance Rhythms.

Sarah Baker graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2007. She is a Customer Services Supervisor for Glens Falls National Bank located in Plattsburgh.

Kyle Baker graduated from Chazy Central School in 2005 and is a graduate of Clinton Community College in 2008 with a degree in Liberal Arts. He is a Patient Services Assistant for CVPH Medical Center.

After a honeymoon trip to Rivera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in West Chazy.
