PLATTSBURGH — Dr. George W. Palmer of Plattsburgh and Dawn T. Palmer of West Chazy announce the engagement of their daughter, Crystal, of Cadyville, to Erik Svendsen, also of Cadyville. He is the son of Erl and Sharon Svendsen of West Chazy.
Crystal Palmer graduated from Beekmantown Central School; Cornell University with a bachelor of science degree, cum laude; and Albany Medical College with a master of science degree. She is a physician assistant employed by Dr. Kristin Ambler of Plattsburgh.
Erik Svendsen graduated from Beekmantown Central; Clarkson University with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering; and Albany College of Pharmacy with a doctor of pharmacy degree, summa cum laude. He is a pharmacist at Kinney Drugs in Plattsburgh.
A May wedding is planned in Lake Placid.
