MERRILL — Bernadine and Ed Martin of Merrill and Robert Nichols of Chateaugay announce the engagement of their daughter, Haylie Nichols, of Loudonville, to Jason Reuter, also of Loudonville. He is the son of Donna and James Reuter of Ravena.
Haylie Nichols graduated from Chateaugay Central School in 1999 and Siena College in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in finance. She is a senior case manager at Phoenix Insurance Co. in Latham.
Jason Reuter graduated from Ravena Central School in 1999 and Siena College in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in finance. He is a self-employed general contractor.
A Sept. 3 wedding is planned.
