Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

REDFORD — Justina Evelyn Smart and Howard Lawrence Snyder III were married on June 2, 2012, at the Church of the Assumption, in Redford, NY, by Rev. Donald F. Kramberg.

The bride is the daughter of Wesley and Patricia Smart of Saranac. The bridegroom is the son of Howard and Denise Snyder Jr. of Peru.

DellaRaé Plumadore cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Jason Helmer of Cadyville, friend of the groom, was the bridegrooms best man.

Bridesmaids were Fabiana Gallo of Valmontone, Italy, friend of the bride, Heather Pratt of Hubert, North Carolina, cousin of the bride, Mary Martineau of Peru, friend of the couple, Nicole Clary of Plattsburgh, friend of the couple, Ashley Kalvaitis of West Chaszy, cousin of the bride, Jessica Helmer of Cadyville, friend of the couple, and Katelyn Atkinson of Saranac, friend of the couple.

Flower girls were Adell Kalvaitis of West Chazy, cousin of the bride and SophiaRaé Plumadore of Peru, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Azik Helmer of Cadyville, friend of the couple.

Ushers were Joshua Smart, of Saranac, brother of the bride, Brad Smart of Morrisonville, brother of the bride, Frank Martineau of Peru, friend of the couple, Billy Contessa of Schuyler Falls, friend of the couple, and Keith Lashway of Schuyler Falls, friend of the couple.

Justin Plumadore of Peru, cousin of the bride was the alter server, Readings were done by, Elizabeth Buckley of Peru, aunt of the bride, Donna Depasquale of Saranac, and Cindy Smart of Saranac, aunt of the bride. Phil Rice was organist, Leeward and Mary Frenyea, cousins of the bride presented the gifts.

The bride was escorted by her parents, Wesley and Patricia Smart.

A reception was held at the American Legion Post 1618, in Saranac.

Music was provided by C.R. Tunes and photos were done by Photos Unlimited and C.R.Tunes.

Justina graduated from Ausable Valley Central High School in 2003. She is employed by North American Door, in Plattsburgh.

Howard graduated from Peru Central High School in 1997 and served in the U.S. Navy from 2001-2007. He is employed by Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 773.

The couple is planning to take a wedding trip at a later date.
