Boyea — Kroboth


PLATTSBURGH — Carly L. Boyea and Joey W. Kroboth were married Nov. 28, 2009, in the United Methodist Church, Plattsburgh, by the Rev. Marion Moore-Colgan.

The bride is the daughter of Penny Cowan of Plattsburgh and Ronald Boyea of Chateaugay. The bridegroom is the son of Ritta and Joe Kroboth of Greenfield Park, Quebec, Canada.

Nicole Dumont of Hollywood, Fla., cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Best man was Steve Marinese of Pierrefond, Quebec, the bridegroom's brother-in-law.

Laura Cronk of Rouses Point was bridesmaid. Junior bridesmaids were Abby Cowan of Chateaugay, cousin of the bride; and Eliza Cowan of Gabriels, the bride's goddaughter.

Ushers, brothers of the bride, were Nicholas Leeber of Geneva and Drew Boyea and Michael Boyea of Chateaugay.

The bride was escorted by her mother and father, Penny and Ronald.

Readings were by Monika Kroboth, sister of the bridegroom; and Susan Kelley. Mark Bennett performed the song "To Make You Feel My Love."

A reception was held at the West Side Ballroom, Plattsburgh.

Carly Kroboth graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 2000 and Plattsburgh State in 2004 with a B.S. degree in business management with a minor in business analysis. She is a release and classification specialist at FedEx Trade Networks in Champlain.

Joey Kroboth graduated from Centennial High School and attended Champlain College. He is employed at Liberte.

The Kroboths took a wedding trip to St. Petersburg, Fla.
