JAY — Amanda Straight and Charles Frazier were married June 27, 2009, at the Jay Covered Bridge by Kevin Patnode.
The bride is the daughter of William and Lynda Straight of Jay. The bridegroom is the son of Thomas "Sam" Frazier of Mount Dora, Fla., and Shelley Frazier of Keeseville.
Stephanie Straight, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Best man was Bradford Frazier, the bridegroom's brother.
Bridesmaids were Emily Tuthill of Lake Placid; Sarah Kennedy of Albany; Lindsay Nixon of AuSable Forks; Jessica Hopkins of Keeseville; Rebecca Gero of Plattsburgh; Margot McKenna of Tampa, Fla.; and Morgan Devins of Philadelphia, Pa. Flower girl was Myah Straight, niece of the bride.
Ushers were Ryan McLean of AuSable Forks; Tom Capone, John Carrao and Tim Rennie, all of Orlando, Fla.; Devin Frazier of Keeseville, the bridegroom's brother; and Jordan LeClair of Florida. Ring bearer was Dylan Straight, nephew of the bride.
A reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Plattsburgh.
Amanda Frazier graduated from AuSable Valley Central School, Clintonville, in 1998; Plattsburgh State in 2001 with a B.A. degree in special/elementary education; and in 2007 with a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. She is employed at Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nev.
Charles Frazier graduated from Longmont High School, Boulder, Colo., in 2001. He is self-employed at ABA Development, Las Vegas.
The Fraziers reside at 8221 Cretan Blue Lane, Las Vegas.
