Don’t assail or impugn an identifiable individual or group. If you have that kind of criticism, sign your name and submit it as a Letter to the Editor. (There is some leeway on this in connection with public officials, but it is not unconditional.)

Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Lacombe - Senecal

PLATTSBURGH - Colleen Lacombe and Adam Senecal were married May 26, 2012, at St. Peter's Church, Plattsburgh by Father John Yonkovig. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Harmony Golf Club in Port Kent.

The bride is the daughter of Suzanne and Christopher Lacombe of Peru and of Salt Lake City, Utah. The bridesgroom is the son of Sandy and Daniel Senecal.

Marcie Lacombe-Gadziala of Apex, N.C., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Daniel Tedford and Alex Senecal, both of Peru, were best men.

Bridesmaids were Kelly Burch and Stephanie Fisher, both of Buffalo; Katie Wang of Albany; Samantha Fialkov of Toronto, ON.; cousins of the bride, Amy Jensen of Plattsburgh and Jocelyn Lacombe of Kissimmee, Fla.; and the bridesgroom's cousin, Nicole Zerrahn.

Ushers were the bridesgroom's brother-in-law, Peter Gadziala of Apex, N.C.; his cousin, Nathan Zerrahn of Schenectady; Dustin Burch and James Micheroni, both of Buffalo; and Kyle Gagnier of Peru.

Readers were Paula Calkins-Lacombe, Dena Tedford and Catherine Paul. The vocalist was Tom Racculia. Carole Bachand was the pianist.

Colleen Lacombe-Senecal is a graduate of Seton Catholic High School and the University of Rochester. She is a third-year dental student at the University of Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine.

Adam Senecal is also a graduate of Seton Catholic and the University of Albany. He is pursuing a nursing degree from D'Youville College and is a volunteer fireman with the Ellicott Creek Fire Co., Amherst.

After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple now resides in Amherst.
