Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Gilbert - Wyckoff

KEESEVILLE — Lianna J. Gilbert and Richard H. Wyckoff IV were married on May 26, 2012, at St. John The Baptist Church, in Keeseville by Rev. Leeward Poissant.

The bride is the daughter of Maurice and Gina Gilbert of Valcour. The bridegroom is the son of Richard and Kathleen Wyckoff of Peru.

Mary Gilbert sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Eric LaValley of Plattsburgh was the bridegroom's best man.

Bridesmaids were Kaitlyn Breton and Emily Wyckoff.

Ushers were Benjamin Hadden, Nicholas Dupell, Parker Wyckoff and Hunter Wyckoff.

Readers were Linda Lowe and Charlene Neuroter.

The bride was escorted by her father, Maurice Gilbert.

A reception was held at The Valcour Conference Center. Music was provided by Gary Peacock.

Lianna graduated from Peru High School in 2008 and is a 2009 graduate of the Salon Professional Academy in, she is licensed cosmetologist at Zeinas Salon and Day Spa in Plattsburgh.

Richard graduated from Seton Catholic High School in 2006 and is a 2011 graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, with a degree in Information Technology. He is employed as a manager for Best Buy in Plattsburgh.

After a honeymmon to Riviera Maya, the couple resides in Plattsburgh.
