Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Fesette: 50 years

OLMSTEDVILLE — Judy and Clevice "Fuzzy" Fesette were recently honored at a party celebrating 50 years of marriage.

The gathering, held at Dominics at Treadwells Bay Marina, was hosted by their three sons, Neil and his wife Connie, Gregg and his wife Ellen, and Dan and his partner Shiela. Their six grandchildren, Nick and his partner Sally, Emily, Regan, Rylee, Ella, and Reid as well as many dear friends were also on hand to share in the couples renewal of wedding vows, dinner and dancing.

Judith Fisher and Clevice Fesette were married October 13, 1962 in Tarrytown. Their attendants were Mary Lou (Fisher) Koepfler, sister of the bride and Richard Brandell.

Judy was employed for several years as a Home Economist for the Clinton County Cooperative Extension Service after graduating from Cornell University in 1962. After her children were in school, she received her elementary teaching certification at SUNY Plattsburgh. She then taught for 22 years at Chazy Central School.

Fuzzy served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a graduate of Albany Business College. He worked for the NYS Department of Corrections at both Clinton and Altona and coached at St. Johns Academy. After his retirement, Fuzzy started a lawn care and landscaping business which he ran for ten years.

In retirement Judy and Fuzzy have enjoyed travel both at home and abroad, numerous hobbies, and volunteering, but mostly time spent with their sons and their families as well as good friends.
