LAKE PLACID — Ralph and Melinda Preston of 12 Patch Lane, Lake Placid, announce the engagement of their daughter, Becca Preston, also of Lake Placid, to Dain Lewis of Route 30, Paul Smiths, son of Don and Holly Lewis of 302 Vista Drive, Swink, Colo.
Becca Preston graduated from Lake Placid Central School in 2004 and SUNY Cortland in 2007 with a degree in physical education. She is teaching physical education and health education at Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School.
Dain Lewis graduated from La Junta High School, La Junta, Colo., in 2003. He earned a bachelor's degree from Adams State College in 2002. He is an area coordinator in the housing and residency life department at Paul Smiths College.
An April 3, 2010, wedding is planned.
