ELLENBURG DEPOT — Ronnie and Yvonne LaBarge of Forest Road, Ellenburg Depot, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 19, 2009. A celebration with family and friends was held in July at Marine Village on Lake Champlain.
Ronnie LaBarge and Yvonne Malark were married Sept. 29, 1959, at St. Edmund's Church, Ellenburg, by the Rev. Earl Taylor.
Joanne Malark, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Mary Malark and Lola LaBarge were bridesmaids.
Harold "Pete" LaBarge, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Richard Malark and Robert LaBarge were ushers.
Yvonne was a registered nurse at Champlain Valley Hospital before joining Ronnie in the family business, LaBarge's Western Auto, which he co-owned and operated for 48 years. They both retired in 1999.
They have one daughter, Roxanne LaBarge, of Plattsburgh.
