SARANAC — Connie Carter-Johnson of Saranac announces the engagement of her daughter, Alexis Marie Carter, to Matthew Edward Campbell, of Syracuse, son of Judith and Patrick Campbell of Syracuse.
Alexis Carter, the granddaughter of Janet and Oliver Carter of Saranac, is a graduate of LeMoyne College and is pursuing her RN degree at Crouse Hospital School of Nursing in Syracuse.
Matthew Campbell, the grandson of Jean and Edward Corcoran of Marietta, is also a graduate of LeMoyne College and is pursuing his MBA degree at Syracuse University.
The couple became engaged at LeMoyne College, where they met, just after they graduated in 2008.
A June 12, 2010, wedding is planned at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh.
