MORIAH — Marissa Lee Gould and Freddie Charles Laing were married Sept. 5, 2009, at the Laing homestead, 150 Furnace Road, Moriah, by Andy Stengrevics.
The ceremony was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of Lanette Chase of Newcomb. The bridegroom is the son of David and Ruth Laing of Moriah.
Bridesmaids were Rebecca Rollins of Port Henry and Nancy Huestis of Crown Point. Gabby Rollins was flower girl.
Ushers were Chris Gregory of Moriah; and Dan Laing of Moriah, the bridegroom's brother. Ring bearer was David Laing, son of the bridegroom.
The bride was escorted by her grandfather, Roger Chase.
Marissa Laing graduated from Newcomb Central School in 1999 and Hudson Falls BOCES, Hudson Falls, in 2001. She is a licensed practical nurse.
Freddie Laing graduated from Moriah Central School in 2000. He is employed in construction.
The Laings reside at 2563 Moriah Road, Moriah. They are planning a wedding trip to Echo Lake Inn in Ludlow, Vt., later this year.
