PLATTSBURGH — Melissa Diaz and Thomas Houle were married June 6, 2009, at the Elks Lodge in Plattsburgh by Ron Clamser. The ceremony was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of Eduardo and Cristina Diaz of Peru. The bridegroom is the son of Phred and Candice Houle of Wells, Maine.
Erica Laraia, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Kelly Ross was maid of honor. Best men were Dan Houle, the bridegroom's brother; and Jason Tyler.
Bridesmaids were Katie Mills, Rebecca Martineau, Kenna Felio and Hillary Engstrom. Flower girl was Cassandra Blanco, goddaughter.
Ushers were Christian Diaz of Plattsburgh, brother of the bride; Brian Martineau of Plattsburgh; Chris Reed of Maine; and Randy Newell of Maine. Ring bearer was Zack Engstrom, godson.
