VERMONTVILLE — Ray and Pat Tuthill of 7936 State Route 3, Vermontville, celebrated their 60th anniversary with a family dinner at their daughter's home in Vermontville with all their children and their families.
The couple was married Aug. 25, 1949, in St. Paul's Church in Bloomingdale.
Ray retired in April, 1989, from the New York State Department of Transportation after 21 years. Pat retired in June, 1990, after 31 years working for the Saranac Lake Central School District.
They have four children, Jo-Ann Cass and her husband, Gordon, of Vermontville; Raymond and his wife, Sharon, of Warners; Brenda Farmer of Saranac Lake; and Shawn Merrill and her husband, Dean, of Vermontville. They have three grandchildren, Marc Cass, Megan Nelson and Hayley Merrill; and two great-grandchildren, Brant Cass and Jordyn Nelson.
