PLATTSBURGH — Allison Claire Dowdle and Jordan Caine Rodriguez were married March 21, 2009, in St. Peter's Church, Plattsburgh, by the Rev. John Yonkovig.
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Kim Dowdle of 48 Cogan Ave., Plattsburgh. The bridegroom is the son of Frank and Jackie Rodriguez of 8046 Route 9, Plattsburgh.
Both sets of parents witnessed the marriage.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.
Allison Rodriguez graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2000 and SUNY Potsdam in 2004 with a degree in psychology. She is employed by the Department of Social Services as a foster care caseworker.
Jordan Rodriguez graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 2000. He became a U.S. customs officer after completing training in Georgia in July. He is assigned to the Richford, Vt., crossing.
A picnic/reception was held Aug. 30 following Jordan's return.
The Rodriguezes reside on the Spellman Road, Beekmantown. They are planning a wedding trip for 2010.
