HOLLAND PATENT — Rodney and Karen Mortis of 9851 Route 274, Holland Patent, announce the engagement of their daughter, Hilary, to Matthew Huising, son of Jurgen and Carrie Huising of 126 Bucks Corners Road, Cadyville.
Hilary Mortis graduated from Holland Patent Central Schools in 2004 and Utica College in 2009 with Bachelor of Arts degree in history.
Matthew Huising graduated from Saranac Central High School in 2002; St. Lawrence University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in government; and The American University of Cairo in 2008 with a Master of Arts degree in Middle East studies.
A July 17, 2010, wedding is being planned.
