PLATTSBURGH — Donald and Gisele Rainville of 18 Glen Drive, Plattsburgh, celebrated their 60th anniversary at a surprise family reunion on Sept. 5, 2009, that was planned by their three sons.
Donald J. Rainville and Gisele Mercier were married Sept. 3, 1949, in Iberville, Quebec, now St. Jean sur Richelieu, Quebec.
Donald retired from Carthage Central School after 37 years; Gisele from Key Bank in Watertown.
They have three sons, Michel and Shanelle Rainville of Watertown; David Rainville of Monk Corner, S.C.; and Donald and Rachelle Rainville of Pittsburgh, Pa. They have 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Again, they plan to spend the winter months in Daytona Beach, Fla.
